Judging from his comments, it might not take much digging to put together a charge of treason against Ibrahim Sarsur.

If the “Kach” or “Kahane Chai” parties are considered by the state of Israel to be “far right,” “terrorist,” “a danger to the state,” and are barred from the Knesset, then why is Ibrahim Sarsur of the”Ra’am-Ta’al” party allowed to keep his seat?

Ra’am Ta’al is a seditious Arab political party that spouts more rhetoric then any other extremist group in Israel, however they are left unfettered by the Knesset since Arab Islamist parties are considered viable political parties in the country.

Ibrahim Sarsur is an Israeli Arab politician and Knesset member, and is currently leader of the United Arab List. In April 2008 he stirred controversy when, following an Israeli air strike in the Gaza Strip which killed a woman and her four children, he compared the actions of Israel to those of the Nazis:

This proved to be the least controversial thing to come from his mouth lately.

The Walid Shoebat Foundation has uncovered damning evidence in a video that what Sarsur says in English to a Western audience is far different from what he says in Arabic to his Arab constituents.

Sarsur, speaking in Arabic at Abdul Rahman’s club in Israel, openly praised Hezbollah for “defeating Israel.

” He also said he awaits seeing Hezbollah’s planners and strategists (whom he claims have a local presence) repeat their victory against his enemy Israel during the 2006 fiasco in Southern Lebanon:

There is a force in Southern Lebanon that proudly raised its head to challenge American and Israeli supremacy with a project that carries the seeds of dignity and is based on Islamic pillars and foundations and has a vision to manage the war with the enemy .

Sarsur’s vision for Israel is apocalyptic. He even called for an Islamic caliphate to replace Israel and to be centered in Jerusalem:

Sarsur fought tooth and nail in order to ban any assimilation bill. The results of his resistance to integration can be seen on video taken in a school in Kufr Qra — the banner of the Islamic movement which Sarsur heads is clearly visible. Children from kindergarten age and up chant apocalyptic slogans:

O Allah, slaughter them. O Allah, make widows of Jewish women, make orphans of their children, disburse their families, give a dark day for all the Arabs that collaborate with them, O Allah do not lift a banner for the Jews and do not fulfill their goals, do not permit their banner to rise.

Sarsur’s community service has extended beyond little children. He has led the entire community of Jaljulia in “peaceful” marches in support of Gaza, with shouts demanding unity between Fatah and Hamas. Another video shows solidarity to his cause in the community of Baqa Al-Ghrabiyeh. A frenzied crowd of perhaps one hundred thousand:

Khaybar, Khaybar, O Jews, Muhammad’s army will return!

This is a reference to Mohammed’s massacre of the Khaybar Jews by decapitation. This vow to annihilate the Jews was not chanted in “Palestine” proper, Tehran, Damascus, or Cairo, but in Haifa.

Sarsur has clearly reneged on his oath to defend Israel.

How far will Israel go in allowing Islamists to help run the country?

Imagine such rhetoric from Keith Ellison, the only Muslim congressman serving in the U.S.: how quickly would he lose his seat? In pluralistic Israel, apparently even a jihadist can be a public servant.

In Israel people aren’t afraid to say the most extreme things against Israel and against Jews, including conspiracy theories, open support for enemies, lies, and the most extreme forms of defamation and libel, but Arabs who support Israel are often scared to speak up – scared not only from their next door neighbors, but from the Arabs in neighboring states that will kill them along with the Jews if they ever win a war.

And Muslims who know they have Jewish ancestry are afraid to admit it publically.

Things will only deteriorate since today Jews are afraid to visit some Arab towns and neighborhoods where Jews were attacked or stoned and it’s really a financial catastrophe for Arab businesses that depend on Jewish customers.

The relations between Jews and Arabs are becoming increasingly hostile.

I live in a city where there are many Muslims and it’s one of the places where coexistence is still mostly peaceful. Certainly in my neighborhood there are no problems at all and relations are friendly.

But as the Arab, and particularly the Muslim, community is increasingly radicalized through the education system, Arab media, mosques, radical movementes and politicians, their rallies, events and general atmosphere I wonder how long will that last.

In the end there won’t be any liberalism left in the world since liberal states have reached a point that they tolerate and even fund their own enemies and the enemies of liberalism and thereby facilitate their own destruction and replacement by illiberal political order

This is how it has come to pass that Kahane was thrown in jail for stating the obvious-that the Arabs posed a mortal threat to the state - not all, but many.

I’ve read enough to be utterly disgusted by Israel’s judiciary.
Apparently, Jews are dhimmi even in Israel.

I continue to think that the only way to eliminate the problem is for the Knesset to abolish the current judiciary and start over with an entirely new one that is bound by legislative and executive decisioins of the Knesset. Otherwise, this judicial tyranny will only get worse.

7.It never fails to make me chuckle when arabs refer to Jews as Nazis. Arabs are totalitarian supremacists like Nazis. They want to kill Jews like Nazis. Arabs sided with the Nazis . Next to their “holy” book of murder; the koran, Adolph Hitler’s “Mein Kamph” is the second best-seller in all of towel-headland.

8.I do think Kahane was not only correct, but prophetic and was criminalized for saying so- in fact any post I even advocate for his idea of population transfer, even here at Jewish sites I am often banned - his name so muddied.

I have noticed that those on the left have fallen in love or at least become infatuated with “openended so called democratic procedures”, “freedom of speech” and “freedom of activities” no matter the deadly and other repugnant consequences. We all know what happens to people when they become truly infatuated.

I have noted that JPost has a current article about four MKs, each from a different political party, making a proposal to the Knesset that NGOs which, in their opinions, continually demonize the state of Israel, no longer be allowed state funding as well as possibly incurring other disciplinary punishments.

This, in and of itself, is a progress

I also note that MK Zoabi has had her travel privileges rescinded since taking part in the Mavi Mamara flotation sequence. Again, a start but certainly not sufficient.

I often wonder whether a large segment of the Jewish population actually has a death wish.

Certainly, in Israel, we are so out front about allowing such disturbing activities all in the name of democracy.

Its root may lie with Ben Gurion who wanted to establish a nation “like all other nations” meaning a state based on a western European model.

Unfortunately, Ben Gurion did not comprehend the Arab mentality and, furthermore, he wasn’t sufficiently in touch with the cultural and territorial context which surrounded enveloped ISRAEL.

Back to the Jewish mentality, mostly found in the Ashkenazim, there is a certain need to “prove” that we are morally better than others. The need is so strong that we continually bend over backwards to prove and maintain our desires.

This need to “prove” comes from our fear that unless we bend to the perceived will of the Gentile world, we will be hated by them.

This psychological perspective can be understood by comprehending the full extent of the Stockholm Syndrome.

Not only can Jewish self-loathers be understood from this unfortunate perspective but, in a sense, so can the Israeli leftists and appeasers.

In other words, the Stockholm Syndrome may be ascribed, in part, to those Jews who allow, even fight for, the right of the internal Arab population to not only offend us but to advocate our destruction.

By being so “good”, by appeasing, bowing and scraping, our hopes are that the Gentile world will come to accept, if not love, us.

Of course, it is the opposite which occurs. The more we appease and allow, the more we are disrespected and the more we place ourselves at risk.

One more item: In Israel, I reside with my family in Gush Etzion. There, on the Yishuv, I have found the clearest expression of what it means to be a Jew.

The people are purposeful, self-reliant, committed and tough.

They form the backbone of the Jewish nation.
